Hello!
I have had an influx of new followers and I thought I would check in and let you know a bit more about me.
I hope you’re well, genuinely, I do. Your health is your wealth…..in my opinion. Sometimes even if you eat well, avoid alcohol, exercise etc etc you still might find yourself with unwanted ailments.
This is even more true during pregnancy with what feels like a 101 different extra health concerns related to being pregnant.
I hear so many women after seeing their midwife or consult saying things like “I have to” or “they’ve said I need to” or “I’m not allowed to…” in relation to what’s been discussed.
In some circumstances of course this is true if you have a medical condition. BUT in many instances what is being discussed is an offer. An offer which you can either accept or decline (which is absolutely ok and isn’t considered as you being rude!)
You may be offered a test, you may be offered an induction, you may be offered an intervention of some kind.
My job is to help you to make an informed decision when being offered these things. I will signpost you to information to help you to make a decision. I won’t tell you what to do, but I will tell you where to find the information for all of the positive and negative things in relation to the offer.
Ultimately it is YOUR body YOUR baby and YOUR choice to make.
I will support you whatever it is that you choose to do.
As a mum of 3 and a childminder with over 21 years of experience with pregnancy, babies, children and many different scenarios, I always make sure that I remain impartial, but helpful. I will help you to find the information to make informed decisions.
I run antenatal classes, I am a doula, I am a childminder and I love to support women. I remember feeling totally overwhelmed as a first time mum, again as a second time mum and again as a third time mum. Each time for very different reasons and each time it felt quite lonely.
There is nothing I want more than to help you through this life changing time, to find your voice, and to feel heard, to feel seen and to feel supported.
If you’d like to work with me please contact me and we can have a chat.
Much love
Jane ✨
